There She Goes ATC

Kelli on Splitcoast is hosting an ATC swap for There She Goes stamps. Since I have one set of Jessica's stamps, I thought it would be fun to do and then at the same time see some of the other sets and how they look. So, I joined and here is my ATC. (Updated to say this picture stinks, I will never figure out this camera)

Pink and Chocolate Valentine

In my blog travels, I like to find blogs where the bloggers use CTMH stamps and papers as I belong to a CTMH stamp club. So, in the blogging world, I found Shyra. She was having her own challenge to use pink, chocolate, flowers and brads (oh and cardstock) so since I am making 22 Valentines and am tired of red, I went to pink, so I threw in some chocolate and flowers!!

The stamps are from CTMH's new Key To My Heart stamp and paper set and the papers are from More to Adore.

Making Memories CHA posts

Making Memories is having video and updates from CHA - check it out here.

Thinking of you's

Clear Dollar Stamps Color Challenge on Paper Planet was Friday. The colors were Pretty in Pink (Light-Medium Pink), Apricot Appeal (Very Pale Orange), Sahara Sand (Any Taupe or Beige - Not Tan), and Neutral: White. Those were hard for me to figure out how to use the pink with the other two. I used Marvin and Marcie and the cheese wedge.

Welcome Baby Carley card

My cousin's baby is due on Feb. 12th and this is the card I made for the gift I am taking with me that day- scheduled C section- and I get to hang out with her son while they are having her. I worked really hard getting the punch for the edge as you can see, I was so frustrated I just had to take a picture to prove how many times I tried to line this darn piece up! lol

Valentines we made

We made Valentines on Tuesday night at my sisters - Cissy's is the bottom one, Catie's is on the right and mine is on the left. Not a great picture, I am having lighting problems-it stinks in my house even with my white box.

Long weekend at Full Circle

The girls spent the last weekend at Full Circle for Youth Group. They were home about an hour and had eaten and took over the chair and couch and were out. lol
Cissy Out!!

Catie out!!

Splitcoast Sketch Challenge Jan. 20th

The Color Combination challenge at Splitcoast on Tuesday was to use SU colors Bravo Burgandy, Regal Rose and Kiwi Kiss (or old Olive). Well, since I don't have any of those colors, I used these to make my card. I actually got my sewing machine out and threaded and sewed around the edges. Some of my friends and family know that I decided to quit sewing and quilting for a while, my heart just wasn't in it and so my machine has been sitting covered in dust for over a year- so for me to pull it out, set it up and clean it was a big deal for me. It is still out on my mom's sewing table and I think it may stay out so I can use it more often.

Have a great day,

Love Booklet

At the crop I went to a couple weekends ago, this was one of the classes. The Stampin' Up demonstrator brought all the stuff and we made the little book. It is very sweet and if I get my act together and print out pictures of the boys, I am hoping this is what they and I will finish for them to give to their mommy for Valentines Day.

Welcome Little One

My cousins baby is due next month and I wanted to get the card done to go with the outfit and slippers I got her, so the other day I found this baby paper by Heidi Grace Designs and just loved it. I put it together last night and then realized I hadn't used any stamps!! lol I needed to make a card with out stamping for the challenge at Stamp Something. So, this little card fits the bill there.

Our Creative Corner Color Challenge

Our Creative Corner had a color challenge to use two shades of blue. Here is my card. I used corn flower blue card stock from Close To My Heart and some flower paper from one of the DCWV stacks. The stamp of the flip flops are from Clear Dollar Stamps August 2008 Stamp of the Month that I won at the crop I went to last weekend.

CD case picture frame

At the crop I went to on Saturday, the CTMH lady had us make these. You flip them around so they sit up and you can put a picture on them. I haven't figured out what picture I am going to use yet as I think this might be Keith's valentine present from the girls for his desk at work.

A green kind of day!!

This is a set from Close To My Heart called with love. I just had some fun stamping these the other day. I really like this set and the colors I used from CTMH were olive and juniper!

Wish on A Scrap Challenge #1

I found this blog while surfing last week, it is called Wish On A Scrap and they were having a challenge, it was to make a card based on your clothing style. Ok, so I love this little bird, so I mounted him on black to represent my black pants and the stripes in many colors to represent all my different colors of tank tops I wear 365 days a year and the pink flowers as pink is the color of most of my tops!!! I didn't have any of the stamps they sell, so I decided not to enter but to still make the card as it was a great idea!!

Nothing will upload

My pictures of my cards will not upload. I spent two hours last night trying to upload and of course, none of them will. I spent all day Saturday at a crop put on by Whatcom Mothers of Multiples and helped my friend Stamp Katie there. I didn't get much done, but after all my work fell out of the van into the wet and mud along with a couple hundred eyelets at 10:30 pm, I didn't think my cards would be worth uploading, well obviously my computer didn't think so either!! lol

Cupcakes again

I am really loving this new cupcake stamp and sentiment I got. I just love the sentiment and even if its not someone's birthday, it can still be a cupcake kind of day!! lol

The cupcake is from Lockhart stamps and the sentiment from Impression Obsession.

Back to the ol' grindstone!! lol

Today, I have the boys- we haven't been together for about 3 or so weeks. They have spent the night once and we saw each other for the holidays, but since we had all that snow we didn't go back and forth much. Calvie was a little unhappy at first and went to dh before me!! Landon, of course at 4 1/2 years old is his Nee Nee's boy and still likes to come here. I made this card the other day and really like it. I believe it was in the group that my friend Janice got last night. It is nice when your friends like your cards and want to use them.

Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge

At Our Creative Corner the sketch challenge from yesterday was a sweet one. So I used My bird from Inkadinkado and a heart embellishment that I have had from my sewing days. All the papers are from Close To My Heart. I am on a no buy paper ban until I use a bunch up!!

There She Goes Card

A week or so ago, Jessica at There She Goes had a challenge to use our There she Goes stamps and make any kind of a card except a Christmas card. I made mine and then when the computer got the new memory added (my nephew is my computer tech and has a full time job, a wife and two kids!!) lots of things got lost including my ability to send email and upload my camera. Well, we got that fixed and then today the keyboard died on us so I had to run to Best Buy and get a new one. It is really flat and funky. Ok, anyway, I finally got the cards in my camera uploaded but too late for the challenge, but I still want to share my card.
